The Brainwavz Beta earphones on sale are the 2013 Edition, they differ from the previous Betas that have been available. The 2013 Edition address some changes to the internal structure of the Betas, the new structure makes the housing stronger and durable. The changes to housing have also increased the bass slightly (something many customers always complained to be lacking on the Betas).
